From 2003 to 2010, studied human medicine at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and Harvard University, Boston (USA).
2011: Doctorate at the Institute of Physiology, University of Tübingen, awarded “summa cum laude” for the thesis on “pharmacologic induction and inhibition of erythrocyte suicidal death.”
Clinical observership at Concord Hospital (Sydney, Australia) in the Department of Infectious Diseases.
Specialist training in Internal Medicine at Robert Bosch Hospital, Stuttgart, and the Hospital of the Sisters of Mercy, Vienna. Gained experience in gastroenterology, hepatology, rheumatology, osteology, nephrology, cardiology, and intensive care medicine.
2014: Awarded the additional qualification in Emergency Medicine by the Medical Association of Northern Württemberg. This includes activities as an emergency physician and in intensive care medicine.
2016: Awarded the specialist title in Internal Medicine.
Advanced training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the 1st Medical Department of Klinik Hietzing, with the additional specialty awarded in 2020.
Previous roles: Infectious disease consulting for Labcon for several hospitals in Vienna; flight physician for Flight Ambulance Austria and emergency physician for the Province of Lower Austria; lecturer for POL (case-based, problem-oriented learning) at the Medical University of Vienna.
Private practice since 2016 at Riemergasse 9, 1010 Vienna, specializing in chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, irritable bowel syndrome, and mast cell activation syndrome.
Relocation of the practice to Wiesingerstraße 3, 1010 Vienna in 2022.
Founded the first Long Covid Online Clinic in 2025.
